Student Guidance for School Entry Sept. 2023

Dear Parent/Guardian,

I hope you are having a great summer break. I am very excited to welcome you back and continue the journey of educating our wonderful children. I can’t wait to meet them all on Thursday, the first day of school, September 7, 2023!

On September 7, ALL students are asked to report to the schoolyard on 79 street, between 34th ave. and Northern Blvd. starting at 7:15 a.m. and no later than 7:55 a.m. Teachers and staff will hold class cards to group students and direct them to their first period class. Please find your class and join them.

Students will be dismissed using the following designated entrance and will enter the building everyday using that same entrance:

Enterprise Academy: Schoolyard on 79 street (Exit 7)

Discovery Academy: Small courtyard on 79 street (Exit 5)

Global Academy: 34th Ave. between 79 and 80th street (Exit 3)

Explorer Academy: Cafeteria entrance on 80th street (Exit 9)

Our bell schedule is from 8:00 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. School opens at 7:30 am for all students wanting to eat breakfast in the building. ALL students are expected to be inside the building no later than 7:50 AM. to avoid being late. Please, we stress punctuality.

Sincerely,

Ivan Rodriguez, Principal
