Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
Did you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month?
Well… Our “Pulitzer Posse” is on the move again walking for a world without cancer!!! Come walk with us this year in the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk” on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Flushing Meadows Park. Every step you take and every dollar you raise will help save lives. If you cannot walk with us, won’t you please donate to help fight for a cure? Parents and Students – This is an opportunity for you to gain some community service all while supporting “The American Cancer Society”. We walk not only for the men and women who are suffering with this dreaded disease, but for our family and friends who are survivors, including some of our own I.S. 145 Staff and members of our community. So put on your best pink outfit and join “The Pulitzer Posse” to help make strides for a world without Breast Cancer! Adults and students that join us in the walk MUST Register. Please fill out the attached form and turn it in no later than Friday, October 18.
