I first want to express my sincerest gratitude for being such an instrumental part of our collective efforts to help educate our children during these very difficult times. We ask that you please continue to support us in everything we do as we strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students and staff.
In order to more effectively serve our students and be able to create individualized learning plans to have greater learning outcomes, we will be assessing our students in ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies. The tests are intended to gauge baseline knowledge in order to create individualized instructional plans and interventions for our children.
The following are the days the In-person cohorts will be taking the assessments:
Please ensure your children bring their device, along with the charger, to school whenever they come to the building and that their device is fully charged.
Fully Remote students will be taking the assessments as indicated by Mr. Nikc, the Remote Academy Supervisor. They have already started and are doing one subject per grade at a time. Primero, quiero expresar mi más sincera gratitud por ustedes ser una parte tan fundamental de nuestros esfuerzos colectivos para ayudar a educar a nuestros niños durante estos tiempos tan difíciles. Le pedimos que continúe apoyándonos en todo lo que hacemos mientras nos esforzamos por brindar un entorno seguro y enriquecedor para los estudiantes y nuestro personal.
Con el fin de brindar un servicio más eficaz a nuestros estudiantes y poder crear planes de aprendizaje individualizados para tener mejores resultados de aprendizaje, evaluaremos a nuestros estudiantes en las materias de inglés, matemáticas, ciencias y estudios sociales. Las pruebas están destinadas a medir los conocimientos básicos a fin de crear planes e intervenciones de instrucción individualizados para nuestros niños.
Los siguientes son los días en que los estudiantes presenciales tomaran el examen:
Asegúrese de que sus hijos traigan su dispositivo (I-pad, Chrombook), junto con el cargador, a la escuela cuando vengan al edificio y que su dispositivo esté completamente cargado.
Los estudiantes que están aprendiendo en nuestra plataforma completamente virtual, tomarán las evaluaciones en los días indicados por el Sr. Nikc, el supervisor de la Academia a Distancia. Ya han comenzado y están tomando un examen de asignatura por grado a la vez. Se les notifica a través de su salón de aprendizaje virtual “Google Classroom”.
