Dear Parents/Guardians:

We take the social-emotional and academic needs of our school community very seriously. It is our top priority to educate our children and create awareness about the many issues that often come in the way of healthy and adequate behavior and relationships.

As part of our plan to educate and create agency in our children to exude and advocate for healthy behavior and strong relationships with peers, we are launching a series of workshops encompassing the following topics:

  1. Digital Citizenship (Cyber-Bullying)
  2. Harassment (Verbal, Physical, Digital)
  3. Vandalism
  4. Self-Harm

During the week of Monday, December 13, 2021 students will be learning about Digital Citizenship. All students in the building will participate in the workshop in small groups and have the opportunity to reflect and ask questions about the topic.

You will be informed of the dates for the other workshops in the near future.

Please help us by also talking to your children about these topics. I know that together we can do a better job in educating, creating awareness, and becoming agents of change on such important topics as mentioned above.

Warm regards,

Mr. Ivan Rodriguez, Principal
