IS 145 school partner Beam Center is inviting IS 145 students to apply to their summer sleep away camp in the woods of New Hampshire! At Beam Camp, youth and staff transform ideas into artifacts and personal achievements into community success through skill-building, agency, and mentorship. There will be two 1-hour long information sessions on Sunday 2/6, during which the Camp Director and Staff Director of Beam Camp will share the basic day-to-day of camp, go into some detail about the philosophies of collaboration and community used to guide the approach at camp, share a little about their successful COVID-19 protocol last summer, and answer any questions you may have!
